This is Hannah, and those are her hands, Sadie and Ratz.  Sometimes they behave like wild beasts! …especially when her pesky 4-year-old brother is around.

An entertaining read and a great way to teach impulse control to little ones.

It’s a big day for Jenny Linsky, the shy little black cat of Greenwich Village, when her brothers, Checkers and Edward, take her out for her birthday.


A home-schooled 5th grader, born with facial deformities, enters traditional school for the first time.  Told with grace and heart by Palacio—tears of sadness and joy may follow.


Cousin Joan cannot get a moment’s peace to read — young Rosa and Willy will not stop their sibling bickering!  They finally settle down when Joan tells them some stories about two little alligators who fight just the same.


Mice siblings Benny and Penny are just trying to have some fun hunting treasure in their backyard.  Everything is going swimmingly until their cousin Bo shows up.  That kid is a disaster, no toy is safe around him!
